IronKey Workspace: First Pocket Windows 8 Certified Flash USB

Imation has designed the first and only Flash USB drive which has been certified by Microsoft to be a Windows 8 'Windows To Go' device. Labeled the IronKey Workspace, this unique USB dongle is an improved version to Imation's already in use IronKey flash drive which featured hardware -based AES 256-bit full disk encryption. It can average read speeds of 300 MB/sec, and around 200 MB/sec write speeds. Imation added super-fast USB 3.0 support and flash memory, giving birth to a monster flash drive capable of outperforming the average drive, delivering five times the minimum average read and write speeds needed to operate the new Windows to Go feature.

The electronic innards of the device are safely encased in epoxy to prevent tampering, while the outer casing is protected by a tough metal shell. Carrying price tags of $129 for the 32BG version, $215 for the 64GB and $389 for the 128GB, the IronKey Workspace has an on-board software which will wipe your data from the device after a pre-set number of incorrect passwords have been attempted.
